There is an analogy in the coaching world that goes something like: You need someone to point out the dirty smudge on your face… and that is true also of healing. We may not feel right but we don’t know why or what to do about it and we need a good healer to guide us on to the path of optimum health and wellbeing. Today I heard this analogy in much more beautiful way. Butterflies can’t see the beauty of their own wings! This resonated with me so deeply as we are so often critical of ourselves, always finding fault and having no self-confidence or self-belief because we just can’t see how special and beautiful we are, and the gifts that we have to offer the world. As a health and wellness practitioner, I do both: I support you to let go of the things that are no longer serving you and to empower you to discover your beauty and strength and shine your light to the world.
