Happy New Year! A fresh start, an opportunity to take stock and refocus, to set goals and shift direction. It is a time of year where almost everyone is on the same page setting New Year's resolutions and gearing up for the future with renewed enthusiasm. And because everyone is doing it, it helps for a little while and then… One, two, three, four weeks down the line we get lost in the day to day and we forget, we slip up and eventually most of our resolutions are abandoned. But every moment is a new moment. There are many points in time that lend itself to reinventing ourselves and create something new. In the 17th of February there is the Chinese New Year celebrated by 1 billion people. This is the year of the Fire Horse for charging ahead with the new. The Spring Equinox in March is when nature thinks the beginning of the year is - as the flowers start to bloom. A natural new beginning where everything feels fresh and new and reimagined. And many cultures have their own new year at various time of the year. For example, 14th April is Tamil New Year, taking place at the hottest time of the year and that part of the world slows right down for nearly two months creating a gentle start to their year. And I often find that the beginning of September, when the summer holidays are over and the new school year starts is another great time to recalibrate. So if we need to take a moment to reset and introduce something new, make a new shift or commitment to yourself there is no time like the present - the 1st of January, but if that doesn't stick pick any alternative new year; or the 1st of any month; or there is next Monday; or even right now! Simply start with a deep breath and an intention for something to change. What are you choosing to focus on today? Wishing you a year of radiant health, infinite love, vibrant energy and abundant prosperity! Much love

Today I sent my husband and daughter to her performance an hour early. Why? Because I’m burnt out. My brain has been struggling to juggle all the to-dos in the run-up to Christmas. Some of them are small — put a load of laundry on, hang it to dry. Some aren’t actually that big, but they feel big because of the stress behind them — like chasing a lab about an error and a double charge. Add to that: • the house needing attention • Christmas presents to wrap • getting my daughter to a nurse appointment and ready for her performance • and a sick cat and more... Today I read a post that said: “Neuroscientists at UCL found that nothing in daily life demands more parallel cognitive processing than maternal mental load… it’s the only job where the brain never clocks out, even during rest.” The signs of overload and burnout are subtle but familiar: • forgetfulness • loss of focus • decision fatigue • reduced creativity That moment was my signal to pause. I’m taking time to rest, reset, and refocus — because sustainable wellbeing requires conscious recovery. Where is your energy being quietly drained right now? What are you doing to avoid burnout? What self-care plans have you put in place? This is the work I support people with — helping restore energy, clarity, and resilience by addressing root causes, not just symptoms. If this resonates, feel free to connect or reach out. Wishing you a gentle Christmas and space to breathe and give yourself permission to slow down as the year comes to a close.

Being a teacher and practitioner, we meet amazing people. Farah did what would be considered impossible and completed the entire Foundation course in two weeks. Coming from India she couldn't fly back and forth every month, so we created a bespoke 1-1 intensive for her. A few months later, I gained my Diploma Instructor accreditation by accompanying as she did her Diploma level as a bespoke intensive with another tutor. A remarkable student and practitioner who took her skills to India, spreading the magic of Kinesiology, who left me some very kind words. How do you build a mosaic? One small tile at a time. When we’re not feeling our best — juggling work, family, stress and that nagging sense that something is “off” — the idea of making changes to improve our health can feel utterly overwhelming. And the amount of information out there doesn’t help. In fact, it often paralyses us. Food: Should you be vegan, ketogenic, raw, gluten free, grain free, or eating nothing but superfood smoothies? Water: Tap, bottled, filtered, structured, distilled — which is actually best? Exercise: How much? What type? How often? Toxins: Pollution, pesticides, clothing dyes, flame retardants, cleaning products, makeup… where does it end? EMFs & radiation: Phones, WiFi, blue light, smart meters — yours and your neighbour’s. When you’re unwell, you naturally start looking everywhere for answers. It’s human. But trying to change everything at once rarely works — especially for high achievers whose lives already run at full speed. At Integral Health, I advocate going slow, going deep, and making changes that are both meaningful and manageable. If I recommend gluten free but you currently eat gluten three times a day, seven days a week, that’s a huge shift. So we begin with one meal. One tile. One step your nervous system can actually integrate. Start with breakfast. Do that for several days. Then we build the next tile. And the next. Because wellbeing isn’t a leap — it’s a mosaic, built one intentional choice at a time. What is one tile you could put in place for your health and wellbeing today?

What is health and how do we measure it? How do you know if you are healthy or not? Is it by the presence or lack of symptoms? Is your gut functioning? Are your joints aching? How frequently you have a cold? By how much energy you have? By how stressed you are? So often I have clients come to me with symptoms, they have been to the doctor and they have had blood tests that have come back normal. Or they have had I]investigative procedures such as Endoscopies, Colonoscopies, MRIs and it is all clear, but they know they don’t feel right. On the flip side there are people who “have never had a day sick in their life” and suddenly: just drop with a heart attack, find aggressive cancer, or developed a chronic degenerative illness. How do you know what is simmering underneath? All these tests are only as good as our understanding of what we are measuring. A “normal” blood test may be clinically normal but functionally abnormal. Measuring a single marker without looking at the bigger picture can be misleading and mean that the root cause is being missed. Here at Integral Health we measure health in a variety of ways that bring together your perception of your health; data collected from in-house functional tests; and lab tests including DNA insight into biochemical pathways, and where necessary gut, hormone and metabolite tests. And we layer into all of this Kinesiology muscle testing which looks at the structural, emotional, biochemical and energetic balance of the body, as well as working with the eight dimensions of wellness. We do not diagnose medical conditions but we can provide a picture of health, as a starting point and we retake these measures at various points to see how these various markers are improving and to ensure that we are on the right track for optimal health and healing. If you would like to explore a comprehensive health assessment get in touch.

You know how we all carry stories we don’t talk about? The silent things that shaped us… the things we learned to function around… the patterns that follow us into adulthood, even when we try to outgrow them. I’ve invited three incredible specialists - each coming from a completely different doorway - because healing is never one-size-fits-all. It’s layered. It’s personal. It’s human. Auro Integral Health- Angiras Auro - Kinesiologist and Trainer She works with the body’s intelligence - the part of us that remembers everything, even when our mind forgets. She’ll share how trauma doesn’t just “go away”… it settles into the muscles, the nervous system, the gut- our stress responses, and how we can finally release it. Carol Deacon Emotional Eating & Weight Release Specialist , This isn’t about food. It’s about what’s underneath it - the comfort, the protection, the coping. She will help us understand why women who are powerful in every area of life still struggle quietly with emotional eating… and how healing the emotional root creates freedom. DrRuchi Mishra Sharma- Childhood Trauma & RTT specialist, Author, Speaker We don’t realise how much our childhood shapes the way we show up: How we achieve. How we self-sabotage. How we trust. How we dream - or stop dreaming. She’ll show us how our early patterns become our adult limitations… and how to break them for good. 💛 Why This Conversation Matters Because so many women look successful on the outside while battling battles no one sees. Because healing shouldn’t feel lonely. Because transformation doesn’t happen in silence — it happens in community, curiosity, and honest conversations like this one. If you’ve ever felt stuck, held back, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or confused by your own reactions… this conversation will make sense of so much. This is not therapy. This is not theory. This is real women, real stories, real breakthroughs. Welcome to From Trauma to Transformation Thursday 11th December- 11.30 LIVE - in the group Have you had to go through trauma that affected your life? Share your comments, questions, or simply be our guest - no one should have to struggle on their own.
“A jack of all trades but master of none.”

I thought the quote ended there but recently learned that the full saying is “A jack of all trades but master of none is often times better than a master of one.”

This is wonderful
“A jack of all trades but master of none.” I thought the quote ended there but recently learned that the full saying is “A jack of all trades but master of none is often times better than a master of one.” This is wonderfully validating for me! As a Kinesiologist I have sometimes felt 'less than' compared to some other professions – acupuncture, nutrition, osteopathy, chiropractic, homeopathy, etc. However, in Kinesiology we incorporate techniques from all of them and more. We layer tools and techniques from all therapies from functional medicine and naturopathy to chakra and aura balancing – to create magic. Understanding whether the root cause of an issue is made up of emotional, structural, biochemical or energetic imbalances and being able to draw on a wide knowledge and skill base to address them creates a powerful modality for healing and change. Kinesiology creates a bridge between science, the woo-woo and everything else and the body will ask for what it needs from across a range of therapeutic tools in a wonderful symphony. If you have been wondering if it would be easy to incorporate Kinesiology within your existing practice, the answer is yes – it is great for bringing together tools from all areas of life and healing. And whether you are an existing practitioner or lay person, your existing knowledge and tools can always find a way to come together with kinesiology.
